About This Course

This course teaches you how to use the Simics full system simulator debugger well enough to use it in classes that depend on it (like Architecture 4001.)

Requirements

Must have taken Architecture 1001: x86-64 Assembly

Ideally you should have taken some other debugger class like Dbg1012: Introductory GDB, so that you're familiar with a mostly-CLI debugger which Simics resembles in some ways.
